Maple Leaf managing director retires
Peter Baker, managing director of Maple Leaf Bakery, UK, has recently retired from the business. Cliff Irwin, previously finance director, has now moved across to replace him as the new managing director.

Aux Pains de Papy, the French bakery run by Mathieu Esposito, is to make its debut in the UK after acquiring its first site in London.
T-shirt promoted for Real Bread Maker Week
A bread-themed T-shirt has gone on sale as part of Real Bread Maker Week, this week (11-17 May). The T-shirts, bearing the slogan ‘I loaf real bread’, will help raise money for the Real Bread Campaign, with £4 per shirt going to the charity.
